Owensville is located approximately 80 miles west of St. Louis at the junction of Hwy. 28 and Hwy 19 in East Central Missouri, and has a population of 2,325.  A strong industrial area provides business opportunities for smaller towns near Owensville.  The town possesses many other positive qualities in addition to its industrial area, such as its AAA rated school system, an active business community, various organizations for children and adults, and fairs and festivals throughout the year for entertainment.
